‘Transfix’ is exposing the human addiction to the virtual world. Our means of communicating through our technological devices has reached a tipping point of chaotic impulsion. We are hyperconnected in an increasingly disconnected society. We’re constantly stimulated and fed with information increasing our hunger for more, yet we’re unable to fully engage in the present. This overwhelming sense of reality is forcing us to live in a fast paced world, distorting our notion and value of time.
‘Transfix’ asks the question; are we in control or is technology in control of us. There is an ever-growing loss of internal and human connection as we become further engulfed into this warped reality. We are progressively disregarding our human instincts, blurring the lines between human connection and communication. How far will it go?
